The first new release from Black Bottle in almost 20 years, the Black Bottle 10 Year Old stays true to the brands perfectly blended history. Matured in American Oak casks, this smoky blend keeps Islay at the heart of the brand, with its peated yet sweet character. Colour: Rich Amber Gold. Nose: Smoky background, with notes of honey, fruit and vanilla. Palate: Sweet rich oak, soft fruit, balanced with a smoky spiciness. Finish: Long & lingering, with a sweet peppery finish. Paying homage to the previous 1998 release of Black Bottle 10, the blenders have carefully chosen elements old and new, to produce an excellent evolution of the popular variant. Keeping the delicate fruity notes of its predecessor, the moineinfused BB10 offers a malty, woodier, tasting whisky.
