Ardmore 2009 / 12 Year Old / Single Malts of Scotland Highland Whisky

70cl / 54.1% / Elixir Distillers – A 2009 Ardmore single malt from Elixir distillers that was matured for 12 years in an ex-Laphroaig casks, before being bottled in February 2022 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland range. Aromas of warm s’mores, steaming hot chocolate, soft bonfire smoke and sweet vanilla fill the nose, complemented by notes of spiced vanilla, ginger, chocolate, marshmallows, chargrilled peach, hints of smoke and powdered sugar throughout the palate.
