Antique Saint-Émilion Wine Cask Spigot – Large Barrel Tap Accessories

A superb & rare large French bronze wine barrel spigot. We have two of these available, both from one of the famed Saint-milion wineries in the Bordeaux wine region of south-west France. Length: 24.5cm (9 5/8). The paler spigot weighs 1.862Kg (4lbs 1oz). The darker is slightly less heavy at 1.760Kg (3lbs 14oz). Nicely decorative & incredibly sturdy, an unusual & fairly unique collectors piece or gift for a wine buff. The bronze has a wonderful patina. Heavily marked & scratched from many years of use. The spigot doesn’t turn but presumably could be freed with some gentle persuasion. Two available, one has a slightly darker patina than the other & the fittings on the base of the spigot are slightly different as shown in the photos.
