Antique pewter gill tavern measure. Produce by James Yates. It has the VR touch mark amongst others. It has a traditional bulbous form which has been decorated with a banded pattern & the name of the owner F. Finney engraved on the front. Touchmark in the base of the measure but I can’t make it out. Very decorative, would look great on display in a kitchen or bar. Marks, scuffs & slightly misshapen, which is to be expected of such old item. Please look at all the photos.
