A vintage wooden ice bucket with chrome or stainless steel removable insert, dating to the 1950s-60s, although there are no date marks evident on the piece itself The wood has a beautiful aged patina, but remains in a clean, robust & usable condition. It is lidded, which is also in lovely vintage condition. Inside the insert prevents the wood from becoming wet when filled with ice. There is a ‘split’ down one side, but it is almost certainly not a split, but where the wood joins.
