60’s Earthenware Terracotta Decanter Jug & 12 Piece Small Cup Set – Mcm Boho Drinkware / Barware – Pottery Carafe – Espresso Jug & Cup Set A fabulously boho mid century set consisting of bijou decanter & an impressive 12 piece small cup set in a beautiful terracotta earthenware with patterned glaze detailing in yellow & black. The decanter, or carafe, is perfectly sized for Saki or other liquor & could even be used as an espresso dispenser. The cups are shot-glass sized. The design is earthy with a brown glaze & black / yellow stripe detail on the decanter & cups including a yellow petal-like repeating pattern addition on the decanter. From the rim & inside both the decanter & cups the glaze is black giving a vibrant effect. The set is in fantastic condition & appears virtually unused as the cups are still packaged in brown paper dividers. Condition-wise, the decanter features crazing to the glaze throughout whilst three cups feature nibbles on the rim (image 7).
