2-Pc Wine Goblet Moon & Stars Ruby Red By L.g. Wright Glass Vintage 1950S Antique Palace Pattern Pressed Fire Polished Crafted in Usa

Set of 2 Wine Goblets in Ruby Red Moon & Star by L.G. Wright Glass. Small footed glasses have raised round moons with deeply embossed stars below thumbprinted teardrops. The round foot, with intaglio stars underneath, reveals the marks of a 4-part mold, while the bowl has a brilliant, fire polished finish. Moon & Stars is a reproduction of the Victorian-era Palace pattern produced in 1874 by Adams & Co. Glass, Pittsburgh, PA (c.1851-1892). L.G. Wright owned many molds for this pattern; however, documents show the mold for this piece was made for Wright in 1959 by B. Machine & Mould of Cambridge, Ohio. Glasswares were crafted by other manufacturers for Wright, notably L.E. Smith, Fenton & Imperial. Due to this fact, is very difficult to distinguish the actual maker of L.G. Wright glassware; however, I’ve seen this piece attributed to Fenton.
