Nose: Ripe redcurrant and cherry notes with underlying hint of stone-fruit almond. Palate: Warm, rich cassis and plummy sloe flavours with full sweet body. Finish: Sweet fruit leads, balanced by emerging delicate tartness leaving a crisp finish. Each individually numbered bottle of this limited edition was hand-crafted with skill, care and an almost fetishistical love. First they distilled their award-winning London Dry Gin in their copper still, which is, and they’re a little overexcited about this, the first such still in London since 1820! Then it was left to rest on wild sloe berries, hand-picked from the exceptional harvest. The result is a truly handmade sloe gin that is subtle, complex and bursting with flavour.
