Bright straw colour. Aromas of struck match accentuate an expressive nose of bomboniere almond, spun sugar, nougat, lychee and sweet fresh hay. The palate is rich yet dry and structured, with a viscous texture characteristic of the variety, moderate alcohol and fresh acidity. The residual sugar is relatively low for this style, at 3.7g/L and helps to emphasize the purity and line of this wine. Best enjoyed whilst youthful, this wine will build further richness over several years. Perfect Partner to seafood, white fish, pasta in white sauce, white meat and salads. 100% Pinot Gris.
