Slane 40 Years of Music at Slane Castle Special Ediiton / Triple Cask

70cl / 45% – The third release of whiskey from Ireland’s Slane Distillery is a special-edition that celebrates 40 years of Slane Castle’s live concerts, after Lord Henry Conyngham sought to bring the country together in 1981 with Ireland’s biggest rock concert. Matured in a combination of virgin oak, refill and ex-sherry casks, aromas of toasted oak, vanilla, dried fruit, crunchy apples and soft baking spices fill the nose and are echoed throughout the palate.
