Columbia Valley Syrah 2019, Chateau Ste Michelle

With a deep, inky colour and inviting aromas of damson, purple plum and hints of seared steak, black pepper, cream and oak, this is so irresistible that taking a sip is inevitable. In the mouth, it’s succulent, ripe and savoury, with lovely, supple-textured tannins and superb balance. This is excellent! Made from grapes grown in Wahluke Slope, Yakima Valley, Horse Heaven Hills, Snipes Mountain and Columbia Valley. Aged 15 months in a mixture of new and seasoned oak barrels, of which around 80% were French.
