Discarded Spirits Trio – Cascara Vermouth, Banana Peel Rum and Chardonnay Vodka

Try all three flavours of Discarded Spirits. Created using ingredients from manufacturing processes that are overlooked and normally thrown away. Discarded Spirits takes these flavour filled ingredients and transforms them into three unique spirits that are innovative, sustainable and utterly delicious. 1 x Discarded Cascara Vermouth – 50cl Made from the discarded fruit of the coffee bean. Rather than wasted the extract from this deep red, rich fruit is combined with fortified wine another by product of the whisky making process and wormwood extract to make Discarded Cascara Vermouth. 1 x Discarded Banana Peel Rum – 70cl Rum used during the whisky making process to impart flavour on rum finishing casks is used as the foundation for Discarded Banana Peel Rum. This undiscovered treasure is often sold on or disposed of. The rum is then infused with banana peel a source of toffee and sweet fruity flavours that are often wasted, to create Discarded Banana Peel Rum. 1 x Discarded Chardonnay Vodka -70cl Made using the grape skins and seeds, which in most cases are destroyed as a waste product in the wine making process. This pomace is distilled to make a crisp, grape skin vodka. This is then combined with “wine alcohol” produced by dealcoholizing wine but full of the essence of the original grape to create Discarded Grape Skin Vodka.
