Tomintoul 2006 / 15 Year Old / Portwood Finish Speyside Whisky

70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling – A 2006 Tomintoul single malt that was initally matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in ex-Port pipes, before being bottled at 15-years-old. Aromas of brambles, red cherry, toasted brioche and amoretti biscuits fill the nose, complemented by notes of cherry Bakewell, dark fruits, marzipan, clove and pink peppercorn throughout the palate.
