Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old Blended Malt Whisky – No Box!

Another winner from Nikka’s Taketsuru range. This was named for the founder of the company, Masataka Taketsuru and is a big, bold full-bodied vatted whisky of truly exceptional depth, grace and balance. Box may vary. Nose: Fresh and fruity with fruit salad, berries, sultanas and some other dried fruit, vanilla, fragrant wood and honey. Palate: Spicy and rounded with vanilla, blood orange and a little chocolate. Finish: Medium-length, slightly bittersweet, oak, fruit and cocoa. Just the bottle folks, no boxes left!
