Bowmore Claret Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bowmore Claret, the red wine finished offering from Bowmore. A rather unusual dram from the Islay distillery finished in Bordeaux wine casks and bottled at 56% ABV. Definitely one to try! Nose: Gentle soft fruit, smokey whisps combine with the mild peat Palate: soft fruits from the wine cask finish mix with the underlying peat smoke and sea salt tang from Bowmores heart. Finish: Long with earthy and smoky notes!
