Glenmorangie Tain L’Hermitage 1978 Whisky

This Glemorangie was distilled in 1978 and matured for 12 years in American oak casks before being finished in French wine barrels from Tain L’Hermitage in the Rhone Valley.Definitely a collectors piece! Nose: Very fruity and sweet. Palate: Very clean toffee and vanilla,developing to nuttiness and remarkable dry fruitiness. Great length. Finish: Astonishingly lean and full of fruity, wine and spicy flavours. Very lively. Long aftertaste.
