70cl / 49.2% / Gordon & MacPhail – A rare release of Lochside single malt matured for four decades in a refill hogshead. This excellent addition to the Gordon & MacPhail private collection shows Lochside at its best, a richly textured whisky with bags of forest fruits and old-school sherry influence. Characteristic blackcurrants and raspberries lead into deeper notes of freshly roasted coffee beans, salted caramel, raisins and cocoa powder.
