So here’s our pocket-sized fact about Edgware… Stag Lane Aerodrome was a private aerodrome in Edgware between 1915 & 1933, on the 26th October 1931 the first maiden test flight of the De Havilland Tiger Moth was carried out. This little biplane was striking & soon after all the testing had finished the RAF were the first to order 35 Tiger Moths off the production line. The Tiger Moth was so impressive that it was sold to more than 25 air forces across the world, it was also a much loved aircraft used by civilians too… Now those aerobatic Tiger Moths were made out of steel tubing, fabric & thin plywood yet hundreds are still flying today! The Edgware 100ml hip flask is so neat, it isn’t too curved to the front or back which allows this 100ml flask to stand slightly taller against the more rounded glass flask bottles that are on the market.
