A Blown Art Glass Clown Decanter by Murano, Italy, c.1950. This Clown Decanter by Murano would make an exceptional display piece in an array of interior styles. The hand blown glass is nicely sculpted throughout, displaying an array of vibrant colors & details throughout. The clowns head shows a stopper bottom & fits within the neck of the clown as it should. The Clowns body (or the hull of the decanter) is nicely styled with a speckled carnival motif. The navy shoes of the clown are large & supports the unusual proportions of the piece just fine. The underside is unsigned or marked. Condition: A Chip is shown along side of the clowns head, the head was likely dropped onto a hard surface as some point. We’ve circled this area in our photo gallery to reference.
