A Lovely Vintage French Green Glass Hand Blown Wine Jug Or Carafe

A really lovely French vintage hand blown green glass wine jug or carafe – C1920. in a really lovely deep green colour with some inclusions & small bubbles as you would expect from a hand-blown piece. It has a tall neck with pinched spout & three concentric rings where the neck meets the waisted body. A strong handle makes for easy pouring. The base has a shallow punt with pontil. There are some old stains in the base which should come out with a bottle brush. Perfect for red wine or drinking water, holds just over 750cc & would make a stylish addition to any table.
