70cl / 43% – This pot-distilled Scottish rum is named for the ship captained by the pirate John Gow – who was raised in Stromness and remains a figure of legend in the Orkney Islands. Three years in new oak casks has layered this funky, fruity spirit with notes of vanilla toffee and coconut. An excellent rum to sip and savour.
