Polperro Pinot Noir 2020

75cl / 12.8% – Sam Coverdale is responsible for the Even Keel wines but he moved to the Mornington Peninsula lured by the surf and the quality of the grapes. These wines are biodynamic and organic and the quality is evident. On the nose soft ripe strawberry and toasted oak with a hint of white pepper, while on the palate this is a classic Aussie Pinot Noir, with red cherry, strawberry compote and a lick of sweet spice. A great paring with roast chicken or vegetarian tagine.
