70cl / 41% – A blend of malt whiskies from the Highlands and Islay, Gladstone Black Axe is inspired by former UK Prime Minister William Gladstone, who had a penchant for felling trees. Bold, malty aromas of vanilla, toasted oak and smouldering firewood fill the nose, complemented by notes of caramel, aromatic peat, heather, oak spice and a touch of sea salt throughout the palate.
