Antique Bottle Cork Stopper – Charming Victorian Man & Daughter Figural Signed

This is such a beautiful & classic item of tableware. It is a wonderfully designed cork stopper for a bottle. It has a cork end & then a very charming topper of a man & his daughter striding along with a stick over his shoulder, quite reminiscent of Heidi perhaps & a very Victorian design. The little girl is looking up at her father & there is so much detail. They have a lot of character & were possibly silver plate which now has a lovely patina. The bottom part has a maker’s mark & it is likely to be continental. It has a lovely weight to it as well. The cork is in good condition. It measures 3.6 inches high.
